Brer Rabbit travels to Africa to visit his grandmother and gets himself into trouble. All the animals of Africa – elephant, lion and tortoise alike – gather to help.
Based on the traditional Brer Rabbit tales, this show was specially written for the Puppet Theatre Barge.
Brer Rabbit Visits Africa is performed using traditional hand-carved marionettes and is narrated beautifully by Rudolf Walker.
