Release of plastic ducks into the river. Spectators on the bank and safety boats for the release and collection will be on site. Other river users are asked to proceed with care during the time of the event and take instruction from the organisers and safety boats.

Please be aware that contractors will be carrying out inspections on the River Nene from 13 May 2024 for approx. 3 weeks.
There may be small delays experienced when navigating. Please take heed of any instructions or signage given by the contractors onsite.

Please be aware that Bedford Amateur Regatta will be holding their annual regatta with approx. 60 competitors taking part on Saturday 11 May 2024 between 08:00 hrs and 19:30 hrs. The races will commence at County Bridge Bedford finishing at the Suspension Bridge at Bedford Embankment.
Please take advice of any notices, marker buoys or marshal’s instructions as well as navigating with caution whilst in the area.

A Dragonboat event organised by Tees Valley Dragons will be taking place on Sunday 5th May between Tees Barrage and Princess of Wales bridge.
The navigation will remain open but there may be slight delays. Skippers of all craft are advised to slowdown, reduce wash and follow any instructions given by the event organisers.
The event will start and finish in Marlborough and use a section of towpath between London Road Bridge, 138 and Devizes Marina.
