ADVICE (9am Tuesday 3 January until 5pm Tuesday 18 April 2023)
Please be advised that both Newbridge swing bridge and Newbridge fixed bridge will be closed from Tuesday 3rd January 2023 for 15 weeks.
This is to carry out essential maintenance works. We will be taking up the deck planks to replace the fixings and paint the steelwork on both bridges.
The contractors will mobilise at the site on the 12th December. However, both bridges remain open to cars and pedestrians until the 3rd January 2023.
River navigation will not be affected by these works.
