Acton Swing Bridge
Update on 18/03/2022:
We are pleased to advise the mechanical fault has now been resolved at Acton Swing Bridge on the Weaver Navigation and navigation has resumed to all vessels.
RESTRICTION (2pm Thursday 10 March 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently restricted for vessels with an air draught greater than 7ft 6ins / 2.3m, due to a mechanical failure the bridge cannot be operated safely.
Specialist contractors have attended site, identified the defective components, and ordered the replacement parts.
Contractors will return to site when the parts have arrived to carry out the repair.
An update will be provided Friday, 18 March.
