TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Wednesday 3 August until 6pm Thursday 4 August 2022)
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Bridge 140, Rode Heath Bridge and Bridge 139, Cherry Lane on the Trent & Mersey canal to install a replacement electricity pole and overhead cables.
To be able to maintain a safe working environment, the towpath will be closed during these works, a diversion route will be in place.
Whilst this will not impact on canal navigation, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
