Third party contractors will be carrying out a detailed inspection of the railway bridge adjacent to lock 37 via a temporary pontoon. The canal and towpath will remain open but please approach with caution and be prepared to wait a few minutes for the pontoon to be moved out of the way. Warning signs and banksmen will be used.
