Bridge 22A (Near to Willington)
Update on 04/10/2023:
The loose boat has now been tethered and is not causing any obstruction to the navigation. Boaters can proceed as normal.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (11am Wednesday 4 October 2023 until further notice)
A large boat, is adrift and blocking the Trent and Mersey Canal near Bridge 22 and Mercia Marina, close to Willington.
Our operations team has been informed and will attend to secure the boat as soon as possible.
Boaters are kindly requested not to travel along this section until we have been able to secure the craft.
We will update this notice by the end of today or as soon as we have further information.
