Victoria Bridge – Vessel Removal – Diving Works

Update on 28/02/2022:
Due to delays as a result of high water levels and issues with equipment on site, the works will now run until Wednesday 2 March 2022.
RESTRICTION (8am Monday 21 February until 6pm Sunday 27 February 2022)
River Canal Rescue and DSMC Marine are undertaking diving activities and the re-floating of sunken vessel.
Diving works will be using a boat as a platform to re-float a sunken vessel which is underwater at one of the bridge piers.
Can skippers of all crafts, please slow down and approach the area with caution.
Delays of up to 20 minutes may be experienced to enable the contractors to move the divers out of the way or to complete tasks.
A safety rib will be in place to manage any traffic.
