Third party contractors are carrying out an examination of Baswick Viaduct. A safety boat and scaffold tower on a pontoon may be used to facilitate the inspection. Navigation will remain open, and the safety boat and pontoon will be moved out of the way to allow traffic. Signage and banksmen will be present.
