Lock 34, Bucket Lock
ADVICE (8am-6pm Wednesday 5 April 2023)
The navigation and towpath will remain open.
Third party works contractors are replacing a decayed telegraph pole adjacent to Lock 34, on the offside. The replacement will be done by hand with a scaffold tower installed at the base of the pole. The pathway down the staircase will remain open, as well as the offside landing at Lock 34. The lock will remain in service.
Signage and banksmen will be utilised to manage pedestrians and boaters. We kindly remind pedestrians and boaters to follow signage and directions given on site.
