ADVICE (7am Wednesday 27 March until 6pm Friday 29 March 2024)
Please be advised of a mooring suspension at National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port between Wednesday 27 March and Friday 29 March to facilitate the Historic Boat Gathering at our National Waterways Museum over Easter 2024.
The following restrictions will be in place to accommodate the event:
Short term moorings will be suspended at New Road Bridge moorings between these dates.
The mooring restriction will be in force for all boats except for those attending the event.
Mooring outside of this area is unaffected.
Signs will be on site notifying of the suspended moorings.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, please consider this when cruising through the suspension as it may be busier than usual once the boats are in position.
