We are please be advised that our contractors have reviewed the methodology for the removal of a windblown tree between Lock 15, Bunbury Upper Lock and the winding hole south of Lock 15, Bunbury Upper Lock on the Shropshire Union Canal. Our contractors will now be able to facilitate the removal of the windblown tree without the need to close navigation
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 30 October until 5pm Tuesday 31 October 2023)
Please be advised navigation and towpath will be closed between Lock 15, Bunbury Upper Lock and the winding hole south of Lock 15, Bunbury Upper Lock on the Shropshire Union Canal to allow our contractors facilitate removal of a windblown tree that has been causing obstruction to navigation.
Due to the complexity of the work our contractors require a navigation and towpath closure due to the work requiring a winch line across the canal.
