Rotherham flood barrier closed

NAVIGATION CLOSURE (1pm Thursday 19 October 2023 until further notice)
We have received notice from Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council that their flood barrier at Rotherham is closed from this afternoon, due to anticipated rise in water levels with Storm Babet incoming.
Passage will not be possible through Rotherham until levels recede and we receive notification that the flood barrier is reopened.
