Disused Railway Bridge on the Rochdale Canal
Starts At: Lock 61 Scowcroft
Ends At: Higher Boarshaw Bridge
RESTRICTION (8am Thursday 5 October until 5pm Friday 20 October 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between Lock 61, Scowcroft and Higher Boarshaw bridge on the Rochdale Canal.
The third-party contractors will be carrying out repairs to the bridges via a temporary pontoon. Diversions will be in place for towpath users.
Whilst the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary whilst equipment is moved out of the way.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
