We are pleased to advise that the repairs to the bywash are now complete, and navigation has resumed between Lock 81 and Lock 83 on the Rochdale Canal. NAVIGATION CLOSURE (10.30am Thursday 10 August 2023 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is currently closed between Lock 81 and Lock 83 on the Rochdale Canal to carry out emergency repairs to the bywash.
Contractors are currently onsite and it is anticipated that works will take up to 4 days. An update will be provided by Monday 14 August.
