RESTRICTION (7am Monday 23 October until 7pm Friday 10 November 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between Redhill Street footbridge and bridge 88A Islington Marina on the Rochdale Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of Manchester City Council and will be undertaking structural repairs to a retaining wall and parapet that supports the Redhill Street Carriageway. A temporary platform and scaffolding will be in place.
Whilst the towpath and navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
