RESTRICTION (8am Monday 18 September until 5pm Friday 29 September 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between bridge 52, Brown Bank bridge and bridge 53, Lodge Bridge on the Rochdale Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of Cadent Gas and will be excavating over the gas main to install new cathodic protection.
The towpath will be restricted with protective fencing and whilst the navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
