Bridge 28, Railway Bridge
RESTRICTION (Thursday 8 June until Friday 9 June 2023)
Third party contractors, Construction Marine Ltd, will be carrying out an inspection on Railway Bridge 28, Trent Lane on the River Trent between Thursday 8th and Friday 9th June.
The bridge inspection will be undertaken from a mobile pontoon with aluminium scaffold tower.
There may be delays of up to 30 minutes for passing craft to allow contractors to move their pontoon out of the way if it is restricting the navigation. Passing craft to navigate the bridge location slowly, with caution and in single file.
Please follow any instructions on site. Contactors will also provide towpath banksman to safely manage the passage of towpath users during operations affecting the towpath such as loading / unloading of pontoon / scaffold.
