Lock 11, Gunthorpe Lock
Update on 07/07/2022:
The rams have been repaired and re-installed today at Gunthorpe Lock.
However, the sluice on Gate 4, is still out of action and so boaters are asked to proceed with care.
Work for this sluice is being planned in and as soon as we have more details, we will update the website.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8-11am Thursday 7 July 2022)
Essential maintenance work is required at Gunthorpe Lock tomorrow, by our Mechanical & Electrical Team, which will involve the replacement of the rams.
This work will take place between 8am and 11am.
During this time, boaters will not be allowed through the lock and are asked to follow any advice given on site.
As soon as they have completed the works, we will update the website accordingly.
