Update on 05/04/2022:

The repairs have been completed and boaters can now operate the lock as normal.

Update on 04/04/2022:

Our senior mechanical engineer has now been able to assess the situation and believes the PLC on the Power Packs needs re-programming.

This is a complicated job, but we aim to have the lock working again by the end of the week.

The lock will continue to be manned every day from 9am until 3pm.

We will keep the website updated accordingly.

Update on 01/04/2022:

Boaters can book passage through Stoke Lock, but will need to give us 48 hours notice by ringing 0303 040 4040 and selecting the East Midlands Team.

We apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.

We will try and have this problem fixed as soon as possible and will have further updates on Monday.

RESTRICTION (Thursday 31 March 2022 until further notice)

Due to an unexpected PLC fault on the power packs, Stoke Lock is no longer working as it should.

This means, until the fault is repaired, the lock can only be operated by a Trust representative.

We will update the website tomorrow, with how boaters can book passage through the lock.

We will try to have the fault repaired as quickly as possible, and hope to have the lock fully operational again next week.
