Upstream of Lock 59 – Redhill Lock

Update on 28/04/2022:

The marina have managed to move the sunken pan to the side of the slipway and it is now visible. The navigation is clear and it is no longer causing an obstruction.

Update on 25/03/2022:

Unfortunately, there is still a sunken pan in the River Soar, belonging to the marina, situated just upstream of Redhill lock, number 59, near the slipway.

The marina is aware of the vessel and we are waiting for them to confirm when they are able to remove it from the river.  As soon as they let us know, we will update the website accordingly.

In the meantime, boaters are asked to still proceed with caution.

Unfortunately, there continues to be a sunken pan in the River Soar, belonging to the marina, situated just upstream of Redhill lock, number 59, near the slipway.

RESTRICTION (Thursday 24 February until Friday 4 March 2022)

There is a sunken pan in the River Soar, belonging to the marina, situated just upstream of Redhill lock, number 59, near the slipway.

The marina is aware of the vessel and have arranged to have it removed by the end of next week.

Boaters are asked to proceed with caution.
