Boothferry Swing bridge – no bridge operator on 1st August between 6am – 2pm
Boothferry Road Bridge
Update on 28/07/2022:
Due to the absence of a bridge keeper on duty on at Boothferry Bridge between the hours of 06:00-14:00 on Monday 1st August for safety reasons the navigation will be closed to all traffic requiring an upstream passage on the morning tide.
ADVICE (6am Monday 1 August 2022 until further notice)
Boothferry Bridge (Swing Bridge) near Goole / Howden River Ouse will not have a bridge operator available to provide airdraft readings on the 1st August 2022 from the hours of 06:00 am – 14:00 pm.
The bridge is also under construction and does not allow a swing for boat passage until works are completed and a test swing confirms the success of the works undertaken.
Confirmation of this will hopefully be completed on the 2nd of August 2022 and updates will be provided.
