Swing Bridge Works
Goole Railway Bridge
RESTRICTION (8am Saturday 3 June until 6pm Monday 3 July 2023)
Works are to be carried out on the bridge and this will be restricting its opening.
Skippers should be aware that the bridge will not be able to swing without giving 48hrs notice. Commercial craft entering or leaving the port of Howdendyke will be granted passage on a pre-notified basis.
If you are unsure if a swing will be required, please contact the bridge at least 48 hrs before passage is required.
Boats not requiring a swing should not be affected.
Please be aware that due to delivery of materials by boat the passage width may be restricted when the boat is unloading.
Boaters are requested to slow down when approaching the bridge.
