Between Woodford and Denford Locks
ADVICE (Thursday 24 March 2022 until further notice)
Please be aware that there is a tree in the navigation between
Woodford Lock and Denford Lock. The tree is passable but is
sticking out into the river. Please proceed with caution whilst
navigating in this area. The W3W for this location is

Update on 23/03/2022:
We would like to make you aware that boats can be locked through
Woodford or Denford Lock, however, please do so with caution and
please do not moor up in the area between the 2 locks. This area
needs to remain clear for contractor equipment.
ADVICE (Thursday 17 March 2022 until further notice)
Please be aware there is a risk of a forced reduction to navigation
depth, once the current high river flow and level subsides, as a
result of the integrity of a short section of riverbank along the reach
between Woodford and Denford Locks.
The Environment Agency will undertake necessary repairs as soon
as conditions allow.
