Downstream of the A1 Road Bridge at Wansford

The works downstream of the A1 Road Bridge at Wansford on the River Nene have now been completed and the river is now open at this location. Our Updated Closure Navigation Notice of 15 May 2023 is therefore rescinded.
CLOSURE (3pm Tuesday 16 May until Friday 26 May 2023)

These works will now commence on 16th May 2023 at 15:00 until 26th May 2023 and this section will be
closed during this period in order for the works to be carried out.
Please be aware that there are planned works being carried out by contractors to remove and replace an overhead cable downstream of the A1 road bridge at Wansford on the River Nene.
