We have received reports of large weed growth in and around the Hockwold area, located near the GOBA moorings.

Navigation may not be possible to all craft. We advise extreme caution if attempting to navigate in this area. We advise checks are made to any inboard engine cooling filters and weed strainers. Ensure they are checked and cleared regularly to avoid engine overheating problems.
It may also be advisable to run engines in reverse throttle for short periods at regular intervals to try and clear propellers of weed whilst underway on the navigation.
