U/S of the Quarry Track Bridge Castlemills

Update on 7/12/2022:

The trees have been removed from the river and therefore this notice is now rescinded.

RESTRICTION (Wednesday 16 November 2022 until rescinded)

This emergency restriction notice replaces our reported obstruction advisory notice issued on 13 Nov 2022.
We can now confirm the precise What3Word location of the obstructing trees; https://w3w.co/shiny.match.system
///shiny.match.system
Easting / Northing 510933,250725 and British NGR:
TL10933 50725 which are located approximately 90 metres
upstream of the Quarry Track Bridge and not the A421 of the
Castlemills to Willington Reach of the Bedford Ouse, as
previously advised
Our contractors have been requested to attend the location urgently to assess the removal of these trees but in the meantime, boaters are requested to navigate with extreme caution, especially in larger cruisers and other river craft if intending to make passage along this reach. We will rescind this notice once the trees have been dealt with.
