EXTENSION Remedial abutment works on Bridge 17 (LEC1/9E) over the Regents Canal adjacent to Gloucester Ave, London NW1 8LD. Both towpath side and offside via barge. Towpath to be diverted onto pontoon walkway and navigation to remain open at all times.
ADVICE (8am Monday 6 February until 5pm Wednesday 15 March 2023)
Story Contracting Ltd performing remedial abutment works on Network Rail asset prior to full bridge replacement at Christmas. Works to include:
North abutments – towpath to be shut and diverted onto pontoon. Brickwork to be repaired and façade wall to be removed and rebuilt.
South abutments –work boat to be placed in waterway on which works will take place once towpath side is complete
