RESTRICTION (9am Monday 9 October until 5pm Tuesday 10 October 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite at the railway bridge 1B at Dunkinfield on the Peak Forest Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of Network Rail will be carrying out an inspection of the bridge via a temporary pontoon and scaffold.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
