Update on 17/07/2020:

The National Grid works are now going to be postponed until 01 September 2020. This delay is due to the need for the Trust to finalise working arrangements with National Grid and our desire to keep the towpath open to the local community during the busy months of July and August.

Original message:

Please be advised of works required by National Grid, involving the decommissioning of apparatus located along the towing path extending from Old Oak Lane to Scrubs Lane

Due to the complexity of the works involved the towpath will be closed to ensure the safety of our customers. Please follow local diversion route that will be available throughout the period of the closure
