Towpath between Bridge 128 and Bridge 127

Ends At: Bridge 127, Stoneton Bridge
ADVICE (7am Monday 4 July until 6pm Friday 8 July 2022)
Contractors working on behalf of HS2 are installing a temporary bridge over the Oxford Canal 70m East of Bridge 128.
To protect the towpath and waterway wall during ground preparation works, a 26m row of sheet piles will be installed at the rear of the towpath.
During the installation, lookouts will be stationed at Bridges 127 and 128 to phone through to site to temporarily cease works whilst customers are escorted past the works area.
Delays of up to 15 minutes my occur. Heras fencing will be placed in front of the sheet piles for security. The works will not affect boaters.
