Towpath improvements
Starts At: Bridge 230, Kings Bridge
Ends At: Bridge 231, Drinkwaters Lift Bridge
ADVICE (until 5pm Friday 20 October 2023)
Remedial works along the Oxford Canal between Bridge 230 (A44, King’s Bridge) and Bridge 231 (Drinkwater’s Lift Bridge) from Monday 9 October until Friday 20 October 2023. Weekend working will also take place during Saturday 14 October and Sunday 15 October. The works will involve widening a 200m length of towpath by 200mm and are part of the towpath improvements that were carried out along this length last year.
The towpath will not be closed whilst works are taking place, however towpath users may need to be managed through the site. The navigation will not be affected by the works.
