The bridge is now back in use again.

Engineers are currently on site taking a look at the fault.
There will be limited operation of the bridge whilst they deal with the issue.
An update will be provided once we have more information regarding when we expect it to reopen.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (11am Wednesday 6 September 2023 until further notice)
Shirley Drawbridge is currently inoperable due to a fault.
The local team will be going out at 2pm today and 9am tomorrow morning (07/09/23) to manually let any waiting boats through.
