We are pleased to advise that the towpath works have completed ahead of schedule. The towpath is now open.
TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Monday 14 February until 5pm Thursday 31 March 2022)
The towpath will be closed but navigation will remain open throughout.
Our contractors, Dovetail, will be carrying out towpath improvement works on a section of towpath between River Cole Aqueduct and Bridge 7, Solihull Road. Boating customers may experience a slight delay passing the work areas. Please approach with caution and follow directions given on site. We kindly remind towpath users to take extra care when using alternative routes.
