NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Monday 6 November until 4pm Friday 1 December 2023)
Please be advised, the repair works to Lock 4 are no longer going ahead, we have re prioritised the grouting spend onto an emergency grouting job elsewhere on the network. This means lock 4 will no longer be closed.
Please note we will still doing the planned work at Lock 1, Lower Frankton so the navigation will be closed from the 2nd January 2024 through to the 15th March 2024.

A stoppage is required to carry out some repair works to the lock. Resin grouting will be put behind the lock walls to fill up any voids and prevent deterioration of the lock structure.
