Further to the notice below, we are pleased to advise that the tree has now been cleared from between bridge 47, Solomon’s Bridge and bridge 48, Crown Bridge and the navigation is now open.

Further to the notice below, contractors have attended site and cleared the majority of this tree, but a large section still remains.
We expect to have this cleared by Wednesday 6th July and will update this notice as soon as we have more information.

Further to the notice below, contractors will be attending site on Monday 4th July.
Due to the size of the tree contractors are still working to open navigation.

Please be advised that a very large tree has fallen and is blocking the navigation and towpath between bridge 47, Solomon’s Bridge and bridge 48, Crown Bridge on the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.
