Original message:
Please be advised that contractors working on behalf of Canal & River Trust will be carrying out ground investigation works to Llanfoist Embankment in the vicinity of Tod’s Bridge (Bridge 95A), Church Lane, NP7 9NG.
This will involve setting up equipment on the towpath to drill boreholes and means the towpath must unfortunately be closed during the working days to ensure visitor safety.
The towpath will be open during the evenings and at weekends, and the closure split at Bridge 95a, so the whole length will not all be closed at once.
Please look for local signage on the ground which will direct visitors to a local diversion where appropriate.
