NAVIGATION CLOSURE (8am Friday 18 March 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised that contractors have now successfully cleared around 25 trees that fell as result of Storms Eunice and Franklin, and the towpath is passable for the whole length.
Unfortunately, large difficult trees which pose access and engineering challenges continue to obstruct the navigation at Bridge 94.
We are working with contractors to ensure the safe and speedy removal of these.
We will update this notice as work progresses and in the meantime pictures can be found at @CRTWalesandSW
