Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite at Bridge 59a, Railway Bridge on the Macclesfield Canal.
The third-party contractors will be carrying out a detailed inspection of the railway bridge via a temporary pontoon and scaffold.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
