We are pleased to advise the tree obstructing navigation has been removed and the canal is now open between Bridge 94, Moss Lane Bridge and Bridge 95, Knowsley Road Bridge on the Macclesfield Canal.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (4pm Monday 25 July 2022 until further notice)
Please be advised navigation is closed between Bridge 94, Moss Lane Bridge and Bridge 95, Knowsley Road Bridge on the Macclesfield Canal due to a fallen tree.
Contractors have been informed and we anticipate they will be on site tomorrow to remove the obstruction.
An update will be provided tomorrow, Tuesday 26 July.
