TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Monday 27 November until 5pm Friday 8 December 2023)
Contractors working for the Council will be carrying out repairs to bridge 47W via a temporary pontoon and towpath closure. There will be a short towpath diversion (approx. 70m) around the bridge with a temporary pedestrian crossing on the A542.
The canal will remain open but please approach with caution and be prepared to wait for the pontoon to be moved out of the way.
