Starts At: Bridge 6, Wrexham Road Bridge.
Ends At: Lock 2, Swanley Lock
Up Stream Winding Hole: Below Lock 4 at junction with Shropshire Union Canal
Down Stream Winding Hole: Stoneley Green
RESTRICTION (7am-5pm Friday 22 September 2023)
Please be advised that third-party contractors will be onsite between bridge 6 and Lock 2, Swanley Lock on the Llangollen Canal.
The third-party contractors are working on behalf of the electricity company and will be replacing the overhead cables over the canal and towpath.
Whilst the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary.
Please take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
