Bridge 77, Glen Rd Bridge
Update on 25/09/2022:
We have received confirmation from our contractor partners that the tree has been cleared and the navigation is now open.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (Friday 23 September 2022 until further notice)
A tree has come down just north of bridge 77 on the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal.
The tree is blocking most of the navigation and so we advise boaters not to travel along this section until the tree has been cleared.
This has been raised as an urgent job with our contractors and we aim to get them out on site as quickly as possible.
As soon as we have a time scale for the removal of this tree, we will update with website accordingly.
