South of Gumley Road
EVENT (9am Saturday 5 August until 4pm Wednesday 13 September 2023)
On the following dates (below) we will be running paddle sessions on the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal near Gumley Road Bridge. We would like to request that moorings are kept clear at certain times so we can get participants on and off the water just after the bridge.
| 05/08/2023 | Saturday | Between 9:00am and 3.30pm (canoes should be out on the water from 10.30 to 12:00 noon and then again from 2:00pm to 3.30pm, so can moor during these times) |
| 08/08/2023 | Tuesday | Between 9:00am and 3:00pm (canoes should be out on the water from 10:00am to 12:00 noon and then again from 1.30pm to 3:00pm so can moor during these times) |
| 12/08/2023 | Saturday | Between 9:00am and 3.30pm (canoes should be out on the water from 10.30 to 12:00 noon and then again from 2:00pm to 3.30pm so can moor during these times) |
| 15/08/2023 | Tuesday | Between 10:00am and 3:00pm (canoes should be out on the water between 11:00am to 3:00pm at 40 minute intervals) |

Boats can moor, but need to be aware that they may be required to move if asked. This is so that canoes can get safely on and off the water at the session start and end times.
