Please be advised third-party contractors, will be onsite the Stanley Lock Flight on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal to carry out major works for improvements of the canal side development.
To protect our canal and towpath users, these works will be carried out behind proposed hoarding. The approach to Bottom Lock, Stanley Dock Arm, the towpath will be narrowed to accommodate the easement required.
Whilst navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution, take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third-party contractors onsite.
