Update on 30/04/2022:
We are pleased to confirm that the bridge has been repaired this morning by the local team and has been reopened to navigation.
Thank you for your patience whilst we investigated and repaired this fault.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (1.30pm Friday 29 April 2022 until further notice)
Niffany Swing Bridge is unavailable to boating traffic due to an issue with the balance of the bridge. We are speaking with contractors to arrange a site visit as soon as possible
An update will be provided by close of business Tuesday 03 May 2022.
