The bridge has reopened to navigation traffic.

We have received a report that there is no power to the bridge, therefore the navigation is closed.
We will update the notice when we have more information.

The new switch has been installed and the bridge has reopened for navigation traffic.

The fault has been diagnosed as a failed proximity switch. A new one has been sourced and engineers will be on site today to replace the switch and test the bridge.
Update on 01/07/2023:
Additional parts were required to repair the swing bridge. Our contractors continue to work to rectify the issue.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (11am Thursday 29 June 2023 until further notice)
Brewery Swing Bridge is closed due to mechanical failure.
Contractors are on site, an update will be provided tomorrow.
