We are pleased to advise the windblown tree between Bridge 102, Brewery Bridge and Bridge 102A Audley Street Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal has now been removed and navigation and towpath access have resumed.

Please be advised the towpath and navigation remains closed between Bridge 102, Brewery Bridge and Bridge 102A Audley Street Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal due to a windblown tree.
Due to the ongoing adverse weather, there is a high demand on our contractors and teams across the North West and we will endeavour to remove this obstruction as soon as able.
A further update will be provided by Friday, 25 February.
