Gannow Tunnel North East
ADVICE (7am Thursday 1 September until 7pm Friday 2 September 2022)
Please be advised that third party contractors, working on behalf of Lancashire County Council will be onsite at the Gannow Tunnel on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
The third party contractors will be carrying out repairs to the steps that support towpath access for Gannow Tunnel.
Whilst navigation will remain open, we politely request all customers to approach the area with caution, take note of the signage and to listen to any advice that may be given by the third party contractors onsite.
