TOWPATH CLOSURE (8am Monday 15 January until 5pm Friday 15 March 2024)
A Trust Contractor will be carrying out towpath surface improvement works.
The Contractor will erect advanced warning signage on the approaches to the works location. There is access to and from the towpath at Bridge 207B and at Hirst Lock 19, with alternative pedestrian diversion routes available.
This project and towpath closure has been widely publicised by SUSTRANS and Bradford Council. Signage has been put up around the village of Saltaire and a leaflet drop done to residents and businesses outlining the work and the closure.
