Update on 28/09/2023:
The mats have now been removed and the lock has been reopened.
Original message:
Due to a oil spillage we have had to closed the lock, So we can contain the oil with soak up mats. Will update in the morning when staff have been to inspect.
Update on 25/09/2023:
The sunken boat has been removed and Holme Bridge Lock is reopened.
NAVIGATION CLOSURE (10am Monday 25 September 2023 until further notice)
Holme Bridge Lock is closed due to a sunken boat.
